Welcome back to another episode of Let’s Talk Yoga!
In today’s podcast, I’ve decided to drop a bonus episode for the interview that I did recently on The Teaching Yoga Podcast with Cora Geroux. Cora and I talked about all things yoga and business and keeping yoga alive in your small yoga business. If you’re a yoga teacher or an aspiring yoga teacher, give this episode a listen and I’m sure it will be worth your time, especially if you’re transitioning from a yoga teacher to being a small business owner trying to teach yoga online.
You’ll hear me tell the story of how I started out just by signing up for a yoga teacher training while being a professional Bollywood dancer. Then how I moved across the globe & started teaching a couple of classes to eventually adding things on until I reached where I am now.
Be inspired by this episode as Cora and I discuss time management and goals (even failure, and burnout). Each of us has different experiences in managing our businesses. We have different strategies and approaches that you, as someone becoming a small business owner, can try and find any, if not all, of these helpful. There are valuable lessons of growth, setting boundaries, and being honest and truthful with someone who goes way overboard.
Cora Geroux originally comes from Canada and is now based in Sydney, Australia. She’s the creator and host of the Teaching Yoga Podcast and the founder of Teachers Club, an online membership that supports yoga teachers. She’ll be back on next week as a guest to talk about all things social media.
