I’ve been in the yoga industry for a decade now. For me, it’s not just a hobby or a business. I’ve embraced it as a way of life. If like me, you’re in too deep, you might be contemplating your future as a yoga trainer. True devotion to yoga means having the desire to preserve and nurture the art and the essence of the practice. With the emerging new types of yoga training at present, that seems impossible to do sometimes. So how do we make the transition into the future? Let’s talk about that in this episode.
For some, yoga is a mere activity that helps keep their physical health in check. Due to the rise of modern technology, yoga training has become a lot more accessible to people all over the world. Unfortunately, some teachers who offer training are instant gurus and did not really go through proper training. In the long run, this may ruin the message that yoga is meant to convey to people who practice it. As devoted teachers, we can do something to avert this situation. We have online communities so we can constantly help and encourage one another. If you’re a devoted yoga teacher, listen in and let me know what you think.
