Welcome to Episode 16 of Let’s Talk Yoga!
The transition of yoga teachers from teaching in studios to going online has been hitting the industry with a big wave. Having experienced this myself, I reached out to Yoga Alliance to know more on how they keep the standards of yoga practice in this transition. A lot of yoga teachers and business owners, if not completely stopped teaching or closed down their studios, have to undergo that transition to earn a living. If you’re one of them, join me as I speak with Dr. Christa Kuberry from the Yoga Alliance to get some updates on Yoga Alliance’s guidelines and roadmap for 2021 and beyond.
Dr. Christa Kuberry, Vice President of Standards at Yoga Alliance, leads Yoga Alliance’s efforts in evaluating and evolving yoga teacher training standards. She is a yoga teacher, a practitioner, and a scholar. She also serves on the steering committee for the Yoga Theory and Practice Group.
