Parenting can feel overwhelming in today’s world, especially when we’re trying to raise healthy, resilient children while navigating endless advice and information. In this conversation, I sit down with renowned Ayurvedic scholar Dr. Jayarajan Kodikannath to explore how Ayurveda approaches child development, parenting, and well-being from a truly holistic perspective. We discuss everything from understanding a child’s unique constitution to the role of digestion, breath, water, and perception in shaping long-term health.
What I loved about this conversation is that it goes far beyond parenting. Dr. J shares practical Ayurvedic wisdom that applies to all of us, whether we’re raising children, caring for loved ones, or simply trying to live with more balance and awareness. We explore the importance of mindful parenting, creating emotional safety, supporting healthy development, and learning to guide rather than control.
If you’ve ever wondered how Ayurveda views childhood, resilience, emotional well-being, and human development, this episode offers a thoughtful and deeply compassionate perspective. Whether you’re a parent or not, I think you’ll walk away with practical insights that can enrich your own life and relationships.
