Welcome to Episode 34 of Let’s Talk Yoga!
My guest in today’s episode is one of my favorite asana teachers, Rocky Heron. I discovered a lot of his classes on Yoga International during the start of the pandemic. I’ve always found his approach to be very unique. In this conversation, Rocky talks about asana. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. As we go on with our conversation, Rocky adds layers to the topic. You’ll hear him share his wisdom and understanding of the topic, getting into layers that are not usually known to many.
If you’re someone who is practicing asana, this episode is really packed with so much information that can help you with your practice. From balancing your movements to achieving your goals in yoga, Rocky also provides a guide on healthy movement repetitions. I love it when he talks about movement modalities, that yoga doesn’t need to be done in a particular way as yoga students usually expect it. It is really up to you depending on the skills that you want to practice.
