Want to Teach Pranayama After Teaching Asana? Listen Up!

How do you know you are ready to do a deep dive into pranayama study? When do you know you are ready to teach pranayama? And why is it even necessary to ask these two questions in the first place? This is crucial if you are someone who is invested in a long-term steady practice of pranayama. Not being able to answer these questions would most likely lead to having a negative impact on your experience and you may not be able to relate so much to pranayama as you should.

In this episode, we’re going to do a deep dive into figuring out the answers to these two important questions. I’m going to give you very clear markers to work with. I want this episode to be a reminder that preparing yourself for pranayama is very important. That way, you resonate with it deeply as you explore the practice. Because there is nothing imaginary in pranayama. It is an exact science and a precise system that has been handed over by Yogis for centuries with care and caution.

On that note, I want to let you know that my long-awaited Annual Pranayama Yoga Teacher Training and Immersive Study Program is finally back. I know many of you have been waiting for it and I myself have been looking forward to teaching it again. It has a special place in my heart, other than the fact that I nerd out on all things. This is open to yoga teachers and longtime yoga students and it happens only once a year.

I hope that you’ll walk away having the answers to these two important questions!
